PilahPintar (DBMS)
~/A waste bank management application for tracking waste deposits, managing customers, and generating environmental sustainability reports.

Context & Problem
The Challenge
Waste bank operations in local communities rely heavily on manual record-keeping — paper logs for deposits, hand-calculated reports, and no way to track individual environmental contributions. This makes management inefficient and discourages community participation.
The Solution
PilahPintar digitizes the entire waste bank workflow with daily/weekly/monthly deposit reports, individual contribution statistics, waste type mapping, and a contributor leaderboard. The system transforms manual operations into data-driven sustainability tracking.

Key Takeaways
This project reinforced the fundamentals of database design and traditional web development. Working with PHP Native and MySQL without modern frameworks taught me to appreciate the underlying mechanics that modern abstractions hide — from manual query optimization to session management.
